The diaspora consists of Scottish people who emigrated from Scotland and their descendants. This emigration was predominantly during 18th and 19th centuries after the persecution of the Scots post Culloden and the Highland Clearances. The Scottish diaspora is concentrated in countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, but Frasers have found their way all across the globe as you will see from our map below.
