I am a sixth generation "Fraser" living in Canada. The first in our lineage was a Major James Fraser who was part of the 78th Fraser Highlanders and who took part in the the seige of Louisbourg in 1757 and the battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1958. Our Fraser Family remained in Quebec City and area (several in the military) for many years and now live across the country. Our ancestors were literate and promoted education and took part in building St. Andrew's church in Quebec City and schools. Documentation carried forward over the generations.
