My father was Douglas Ferrar Fraser and his father, Alexander David Fraser, was prominent in Pictou, Nova Scotia. I've traced the tree back to my 4th great-grandfather, Alexander Fraser (Birth ABT 1705 • Culloden, Inverness-shire, Scotland). I have two brothers, but neither of them has children to pass on the name. I am visiting Scotland in 2025 and hope to learn more.
