My great-grandfather, Gordon Clark Fraser was born on August 11, 1860, to Isobel Collie, age 34, and William Stephen Fraser, age 36 in Lumsden, Auchindoir and Kearn, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Gordon, with his wife Annie, came to the USA on 30 Apr 1888 • New York, New York. Initially settled in Minnesota, he moved his family to Chicago, Illinois between 1890 and 1891. My grandfather and my father, named John Wallace Fraser Sr. and Jr., respectively, were born in Chicago. I was born in Elgin, Illinois in 1964.
