My earlies ties that we have researched come from Alexander Fraser born in 1801 Scotland and died between 1861 and 1871. Wife was Jennet Fraser who was born in 1890 also born in Scotland. They moved to Canada around 1838. Their three children were all born in Commonwealth (Ontario, Canada),Angus Fraser born 1838, John Fraser born 1844, and Archibald Fraser 1901. Alexander and Jennet Fraser appear in the 1861 census for Ontario, Victoria County, in Eldon Twp. The Fraser clan have lived in Ontario, Edmonton, Alberta and in Vancouver, British Columbia areas. I have lots more My father Douglas Lyle Fraser (born Jan. 22, 1934) has 7 children, five that live through out Canada and two that grew up in the USA. I am my father's 3rd child born Oct. 10, 1955. My maternal grandmother is also Scottish. Letitia McDonald, born Oct. 12, 1900 in Paisley, Scotland.
