I recently discovered my 3rd great grandmother was Isabella Fraser born May 9 1811 in Scotland to parents Thomas Fraser and Ann Mackenzie. Isabella named her youngest son after her grandfather Donald Mackenzie and the name Donald has been passed down across generations. Through her ancestry i have traced Frasers and Mackenzies back to the 1600s. I’m joining to honour her memory and take part in our mutual enjoyment of Highland Culture.
