My maternal grandmother was Malvina Ellen Frazier, whose ancestor John Bernard Frazier (born Fraser) was the first to emigrate to the United States, settling in North Hampton, North Carolina. His father was Thomas Fraser Beaufort, de jure, 10th Lord of Lovat Fraser. The oldest ancestor I have been able to trace is Hugh Fraser, Baron of Lovat, born 1400 in Lovat, Inverness-shire, Scotland.
