From my research so far, I have established that I belong to the Fraser of Lovat Clan. Are we Boll o’ meal Frasers or a Sept or both?
Does the Clan have any documentary evidence of when the Sim sept gave their allegiance to the Clan Chief.
does the surname “Sim” have any relevance with the fact that “Sim” is a diminutive of Simon?
That then begs the question : Does the family name Sim mean I am a descendant of Lord Fraser of Lovat or is Sim a given name in honour of (Simon) Lord Fraser of Lovat, to physically show our allegiance?
