Confirmed male line descent from Alexander Fraser 1745-1790, tacksman of Artligan and Miln and Crask of Crochel in Strathglass and his father Thomas of the same place. Alexander’s spouse was Isobel, daughter of William Fraser of Deanie in Strathfarrar. For their entry in Burke’s LG the Fraser-Campbell family claimed that Thomas’ paternal grandfather was Thomas Fraser of Teanakyle, d 1707. If that were true then I would have male line descent from Hugh, 3rd Lord Lovat via Belladrum and Guisachan.
