My Great Grandmother was a Fraser, her name was Genoa D. Fraizer 1856-1909. John B II Fraser, my 6th great grandfather, was born in 1674 in Inverness Scotland and he is the one moved to America, not sure the date. He died in 1744 at Carteret North Carolina, USA. I am guessing it coincided with failed Jacobite rebellion. When John moved to America he change the spelling of Fraser to Frazier. Hugh Fraser 7th Lord of Lovat is my 8th great grandfather! I am also related to the Wemyss Clan from Isabel Wemyss Fraser, wife of the Hugh Fraser the 7th Lord of Lovat. I am also related to the MacLeod Clan, from Sibella MacLeod who was married to the Thomas Fraser of Beaufort de jure, 10th Lord of Lovat.
