My suspect records go back to 10th century where my Norman French heritage moved into Great Britain after the 1066 wars that were granted land by the French. That land was in east London and east of Inverness. Then poor records from then till migration to the highlands of North Carolina in early 1700’s. Numerous references to laird lovat but no concrete proof as yet of direct lineage to Fraser clan though I proudly claim to be associated.
