My 5th great-grandfather was Capt. Simon Fraser, Sr. who was born to John and Mary Fraser about 1758 at Aird Lovat, Inverness, Scotland and came to Georgia about 1762. He served in the American Revolution and later married Sarah Sullivan. They had 3 sons: John Edward, Andrew Fairchild (my 4th GGF), and Simon Alexander. He died on 26 Oct 1812 in Liberty Co., GA
