My grandfather, James Fraser Hutchison migrated to NZ in the 1920s. He was raised in Aberdeen, by his grandmother Annie Hutchison. His mother was Eliza Jane (aka as Auntie Jeanne to us children) Hutchison who (according to my Grandmother, Mary Galloway Hutchison from Paisley, James's wife) had a family Bible that traced our family lineage all the way back to Lord Lovat. It was apparently stolen from her possessions when she was in a nursing home in Wellington NZ. I would love to trace my family tree to confirm all this – one day!
